Andale.com has been having problems with checkout, images, counters, double billing, and assigning winning bidders to the wrong items for 2 months now, but it has decided to launch a contest to get their customers, that are still too ignorant to move on to a better auction management platform, the holiday spirit.

The front page of Andale no longer displays that link to the community forums (http://community.andale.com) where all the complaints customer complaints are still being logged, but it now fashions a fancy new contest where a seller that uses Andale services can win an iPod!

Here are the details to win an iPod in December.

“I wonder about all the other Andale users that do not know or see this forum that are experiencing issues. Andale does not email or communicate problems. USers should not have to email about every single issue to have a "script" run to fix it. I am not going to be a guinea pig and list anything until the site system realy works, 100%, without having to ask to run fixes and risking money losing errors.”

eBay sellers using Andale can’t even expect to get a refund without begging and pleading Crystal Wells Miller for one in the support forum:
Crystal,

We have not received any credit for the outage and have just been charged for a full months services. When will we receive the credit??? We lost thousands of dollars and never complained once. This charge is adding insult to injury.

eBay has decided that Andale’s service is so shoddy that its going to block Andale’s checkout service to be used with eBay:

Here’s another customer’s complaint regarding billing:
“It is with great dismay , that this morning ,I found Andale had hit my bank account for payment in the last couple days for fees.

As a business person here , on ebay for 7+ years, and 30 years elsewhere, I would never have to nerve to bill / collect for goods I had not delivered. ( In the case, the goods being my ability to list / sell items .)

It's not like this happened last week and the billing was in the works allready. Thru the boards, I read some where of a 50% now and 50% in Dec billing. Tho, I have had no official notice of any thing.

Crystal... I do understand, you are not the ' billing' person. I know earlier this week, ( Tues or Wed)in an email you said you'd have some one take care of me.

I'm not sure if the format is for Crystal to do all the mop up work and fend off the customers, or why she is the only one to have to shoulder all this . If there is so many customers that need attention, there ought to be more than one customer servie rep, imho.

The only emails I have gotten thru this whole 'FALL FIASCO',have been two I sent to Crystal. Were there other Andale announcements or email updates? I have checked my settings and my email addie is correct.

In baseball terms folks, I will say, Andale 'took the bat out of my hands' this fall and 'left me hung out to dry'.

And now has the pleasure of making me pay for some thing I didn't get.

It seems that there are about 5 American citizens at Andale now, and 20 Indians off shore. I can’t confirm those numbers, but that’s about the ratio that I’ve verified with customers and from the community forum.

The phone number for Andale customer service is 1-877-4ANDALE . Strangely, that number isn’t available on the home page of Andale anymore.
