No official word or notice if Andale will be using Vendio’s community board support system, but it is assumed they will.

The Andale Website is Changing! Here is What You Need to Know

What Is Changing, and When?

Later this month, we’ll begin the gradual process of combining the Andale and Vendio websites, a crucial effort that will enable us to focus all our future resources on making the best sales management services available even better. Initially, we’ll be changing only the Andale product top level user interface to adopt the simpler Vendio style of navigation.

These screen shots illustrate the upcoming change:

Why Are We Making This Change?

Last November, Vendio and Andale brought together two industry leaders with diverse strengths and a unified vision: offer the best combined services that enable you to sell more and grow your online business. The first visible step toward this vision requires us to offer Andale’s and Vendio’s applications within a common navigation and on a single domain. This step paves the way for us to offer Vendio services to Andale users and vice versa. We will also be able to integrate features into existing products that are not available today, such as adding advanced scheduling to Andale Lister and Lister Pro. (We’ll have more announcements this year. Stay tuned!)

Any Workflow Impact?

There will be almost no workflow impact. All Andale product features and user interface elements will remain the same as before. There will be only two notable differences:

* New top-level navigation: the Andale navigation, formerly in tabs on the top of the page, will move to the left-side pane to be consistent with Vendio navigation.

* Login flow: after you successfully login, you’ll be automatically redirected to the vendio.com domain, where all your Andale services will reside. We recommend you update your bookmarks at your convenience, but the old ones will continue to work.

Need More Information?

For more information about the overall plan for the merged sites and where this initial step is leading, please read our Blog.

We encourage you to login to the merged site when it’s launched in March, and – of course – we always welcome your honest feedback as we continue to improve our services and enable you to be more successful selling online. You can email your comments and suggestions to feedback@andale.com.

Best Regards,

The Vendio Team
