I gotta commend Tulip Tools for playin’ these fools. I’d be tired of it after about a week of lawsuit threats. If I had a time for whenever a website thought it was going to revolutionize auction and ecommerce sellers….
The story is the same. Some idiots (starring Scott Ceci and Richard Austin) start an auction site with buggy, free, or slow software, starts making promises, blah blah blah, how great things are gonna be if people just “join now”, etc. etc. Making illusions of a co-op, MLA. blah blah blah. Insert your own AuctionPie / Gegy / BidBay story here. And then the fools go on the attack when facts start emerging about it.
In this case, it appears Swoopbug (and/or Showbidz.com, seem to have the same owners/operators) was offering some kind of “shareholder” agreements to sellers that participated, and obviously, that’s kinda a no no unless you’ve got the right documentation and approval for that type of crap.
Anyway, because TulipTools dared ask the questions about all the ownership name changes on the auction site’s name servers, and then dared ask for documentation about how this “shareholder” plan was going to be executed.
BargainBloodhound starts the discussion here, and it doesn’t take long for somebody’s panties to get twisted.

Stay away from these wannabe eBay sites like Swoopbug and Showbidz. They’re bad juju. Visit TulipTools often. They got a good eye for the liars, profiteers, spammers, and scammers.
This is how Richard and Scott try to put TulipTools in their place, by issuing multiple “press releases”. MORONS!

By the way, SHOWBIDZ is a trademark of Musicland Group, Inc, and this POS site I mention has nothing to do with Musicland Group, Inc.
Also, I’m not a member of TulipTools, nor do I know any of the owners personally. I just like the way they ask questions.
Nothing sinister going on at all, no problem answering questions either, but when answers are twisted why bother. show me one instance of a real claim someone got ripped off, did not get what they purchased or any civil or criminal investigation that is real. if you want real answers be glad to answer but not if it results in conflicts. example no one mentioned issuing any stocks, all that was offered was shiring revenu( commissions) for referrals, sale ect. that was twisted into stocks, corporations. just read the profit sharing explanation on the site and see for your self. Name change, a name we like came available and we used it, big conspiracy, there we not alligations of fraud, no one complained that we were not producing what was sold, and we announded the name change so what were we hinding. i could go on and on and pick it a part but whta is the point, either you want to believe what they say without looking for yourself or not. like what does scott selling his van have to do with anyhting at all ??? so they said what we think is bad stuff about us, and we did the same to them, we should have know better than get involved in mud slinging, but if it was us that were convicted felons ect they would have realy gone to town with that. we are not hiding,we are in plain view, if you have a real question and want a real answer, i mean a real answer ask.
Forgot to mention this but the terms ” seems to have the same owners ” why is this a revelation or a surprise on anyones part? this was announced on several press release and blogs. so once again what is the issue here, let s see if we got the story straight, there was a name change that was announced to the public, two people announce they are doing business together to the public and are hiding that information from who ?, showbidz.com and swoopbug.com ripped off who? showbidz offered to pay commisions ( they called it revenue sharing ) and someone made a claim did’nt get paid ????
Scott is selling his van,and that offended who ? Ricks wholesale site collected money from whom and didn’t ship the product ? complaints were filed with the attorney general for what criminal action ? and by whom ?
Have i waisted my time answereing this, or are you realy interested in the truth
NOw i suppose when we show up on the net with a rediisign of the swoopbug site it will mean that we are up to what?
doe you want a real story how about the selling of swoopo and telebid clones. seems that any of those clone from swoopo or telebid have aflaw in them over a certain amount of listings in them and the site either crashes, or timers slow down….. it this on purpose so competition for swoopo or telebid is eliminated…. interesting question because why would swoopo or telebid not be jumping up and down with people selling duplicates of their successful sites( each hew site that works would be their competition ) rumor has it that it is swoop and telebids themselves that are behind the selling of these clones, knowing full well that with any load at all they will fail and that these little pop up clone companies are actualy swoop/telebid companys . makes sence why would you allow someone to sell your copyrighted programs.Ebay doesn’t care cause it would cost millions to run the clone, same for facebook, craigslist ect. the only one in jeoperdy would be telebid/swoopo cause they can be run on one or two dedicated servers, ebay clones craigs list/facebook clones may be duplicates but to run it like them the cost is beyond the reach of the everday joe….. there is a real story the flaws in the penny auction scripts swoopo and telebid and flawed on purpose.. they do run quite well if you stick to about 30 to 40 auctions and do not let customers use the bid butlers, but after that they are doomed to fail they start slowing dow, eating up the servers ect…
“this was announced on several press release and blogs.”
Well, nobody reads press releases, at least not the ones you post to, nor your blogs.
I don’t want a “story”, I want sellers warned!
thought thats what your about, nobody reads press releases or blogs but thats what all of you keep highlighting
so this was a waite of time answered questions got same result.
peope will just take you for what you guys are what ever that is.
I’m not interested in what you call “answers”, I can make my own opinion. Why don’t you give that $400 back to that developer?
You can say what you want about me, but I after reading all this stuff about showbidz and Scott, it caused me to take a closer look at Scott and his dealings and a lot of what was said about his profit sharing and stock offerings were true, I have distanced myself from him as best as i can but I am sure that will not change peoples views. as for my charging back my purchase from that company I had a perfect right to do so when the product did not work, I have not been the only one who has had the same complaints or had to charge back their purchase from that company… the only way you can tell who is right or wrong is purchase the item yourself and try it, see if it does or does not work.. I don’t believe in everyhting you guys do with these forums but in this case it opened my eyes about scott, he pays no bill and try to make everyone a partner or shareholder bla bla bla, signed to stupid to have not seen the signs
