Scott Samuel Google Profile Update

On July 1, 2009, in E-commerce, by David

Parents and investors beware, Scott Samuel’s getting ready for another launch, leech, or losing opportunity.

His new Google Profile lists himself as a Strategic Consultant (hee hee). He’s STILL trying to shoot rainbows out of his ass, and see who’s smellin’ them.

No mention of the morning erections with pre-teen boys, the door he hacked with an axe, the grandma abuse, the xanax fits, the pot in the garage, if his mom’s cookin’ steaks, or if he repaid the people and investors that he screwed out of time and money.

I am the person who founded the 3rd party auction services industry out of a spare room in my home when eBay was Auctionweb   My initial hobby website eventually became Honesty.com, which by June of 1999 was ranked #22 in terms of overall global web traffic. Between 1985-1998, I owned and operated one of the first online ‘social networks’ which, at first, utilized dial-in connections, and later the Internet. Prior to that, I ran one of the earliest Chicagoland BBS’.  I have been a member of the online world since late 1980.

Where I grew up
Chicagoland
Places I’ve lived
Chicagoland/Mountain View
Schools I’ve attended
North Central College

Something I still can’t find on Google

The Truth
My superpower
I intuitively know how to scale traffic on virtually any given website.
Interests
Dogs, People, Chess, The Internet.

Yakim accuses me of online stalking

On April 9, 2009, in Quarrels, by David

Yakim Almaleh, once an employee of Ethical Technologies, and current buddy of Scott Samuel, labels me an online stalker in his latest twitter update. Still, after all these years. I’ve never met or talked to Yakim, and the people familiar with the Ethical Technologies situation claim that he leanred his lesson with Scott’s Shenanigan’s, but then again, maybe not.

Of course, it may not be Yakim posting the twitter updates, as it seems Yakim is also listed as the owner of the ScottSamuel.net domain name. Maybe Scott hijacked Yakim’s bank accounts and Canadian passport? Do Canadians have passports?

In related news, Scott Samuel removed all his tweets of him dropping “hints” to people of his next big ecommerce related “project”, “and it has a dual edged revenue model”. Yeah Scott, sure it does. Maybe he had Yakim remove those tweets too.

Anyway, this dig by Yakim probably means Scott is still onto “something pretty amazing”. That could be goofy gas at the dentist, Vicodin, or 15 pounds of California weed, I haven’t seen any specifics yet.

The list of investors is growing smaller and smaller.

Scott Samuel Invades PeSA again!

On October 28, 2008, in Quarrels, by David

{mosimage}”All we need now is a comet and some kool aid” is right!

Scott Samuel crawls out from a rock, and shoots rainbows out of his ass on the PeSA forums!

This is hilarious. Some think he’s that loon Scot Wingo, some don’t know who he is, and others just start lapping up the kool aid!

At first, I didn’t think this was the “real” Scott Samuel, but you’ll be able to tell really quick that it’s him. He’s the SAME OL’ SCOTT! And PeSA turns a blind eye to his shenanigans!

He calls his new blog, a “community portal”, he uses a “potential” tagline… he gives everybody a “backgrounder” on his successess!  He cleverly uses the word “fecal matter” at first, but then throws around “shit” and “f***”

I’ll SAY IT AGAIN… “HILARIOUS”. I didn’t see a “Hiyas” though, maybe he still gassed up from the dentist.

If these PeSA people fall for this again, there truly is no hope for them. I wonder if Scott’s dad is “allegedly” still paying his bills, and I hope no doors get axed this time around.

UPDATE:Scott abusing Twitter as only Scott would!

The Latest Scott Samuel Crash and Burn story

On September 22, 2008, in Quarrels, by David

{mosimage}Seems like Scott Samuel (former CEO, Honesty.com and EthicalTools.com) is still trying to launch yet another “million dollar idea” with low or no paid workers, and bungling attempts to get financing for the endeavors.

In one instance, “USA Vote Today” was to be some kind of social networking site for 2008 election. Needless to say, work wasn’t getting done on the project, and money wasn’t coming in for it, so it died a slow death, with Scott throwing one of his many tantrums when he found out he was going to be left out of the development. Of course, the next thing that happened is a number of threats, and general Scott Freak Out behaviors.

With his latest failure, it seems Brian Deloria and “Mikey” weren’t involved with Scott in this plan. Did they get smart, get tired of Scott, or did Scott separate himself from them? Some of Scott’s familar traits were repeated often times in his latest endeavor… mention Honesty 1000 times, eat a bunch of fresh french fries from MickeyD’s, get gassed, make threats, bitch about his life, theaten to ruin somebody, rinse, and repeat.

Allegedly, he’s out of cash again, and having his dad pay his debts, and may be living with him or Scott’s mother.

Again, if you’re a mother with a young son thinking Scott’s the messiah, or an investor trying to determine if you should throw money Scott’s way, beware. This is the guy that talked about his morning erections on a Runscape message board (RuneHQ), and somehow seems to convince people to work for him for free under threats and intimidation.

Recommendations For ScottCo-Founder/Chief Visionary/CEO – Something Pretty Amazing
More Information To Come 2007

“I've been in this industry for 16 years and I've met, worked with, and worked for a lot of people in many companies from small startups to large corporations. Some were nothing but goal oriented, some had vision with no drive, and others had only drive and nothing else, and most pushed their way into the leadership role to satisfy their egos and surround themselves with sycophantic employees. Needless to say, regardless of the capital and advances in the technologies involved, many of these companies were driven to the ground by people who were not qualified to be in that role. From the time I've met Scott, when I was still with Synfonic, I've never known anyone with the right combination of ethics, drive, vision, people skills and leadership qualities. One can whip a horse to run faster, or you can entice the horse to run faster with a carrot. But something magical happens when you empower that horse with a purpose, direction and a renewal of that drive at every milestone passed. Scott empowers his employees to do better. We do not endeavour to try harder because we are being pushed. We push ourselves because Scott makes us believe that with his vision, his proven track record, his people skills, his hand-picked team members, and with his persistence, we will get to the finish line first. Most are not qualified to be leaders, but the few who understand that it takes more than technology or more than sheer resolution… will follow the right man, and I believe Scott is that man.” November 30, 2006
