It may be no surprise to anybody, but the part time AM radio co-host with a blog has been acting up again lately.
Haverhill40 – “@sportstalkmatt Do you have an imposter on twitter? Another Matt Perrault is following me.” link
sportstalkmatt - “@Haverhill40 It’s the same dude who bought mattperrault.com and is now trying to sell it if you can believe that. Total loser in my book”. link
Haverhill40 – “@sportstalkmatt Who would want to be you?? I kid, I kid. Kinda creepy if you ask me though. Does it feel good that people want to be you??” link
sportstalkmatt – “@Haverhill40 Yeah, the guy is a creap stalker of me. Pretends to be me.” link
Matt knows succinctly that I don’t operate the mattperrault twitter account. I’ve told him that. I’m not a big twitter fan, but I know who’s operating it, or at least who created it. And they’re treading on thin ice mocking Matt. I suspect Twitter will eventually dump that account, at least that’s what Matt has been telling people. Why mock Matt when his own words do the mocking?
Also, this is the second time Matt Perrault has posted that I’m a stalker. Those are some pretty big words to own up to, even if they are misspelled. I won’t comment any more on his ludicrous statements until I check up on some documentation.
From the CycloneFanatic Message board, right before Matt forced the operator to close a thread dedicated to him…
” Well, I’ve been just a touch busy boys and girls here in Oklahoma City. Haven’t been on here for a while but I’m glad to see that my stalker showed up. I mean, the guy did have a T-shirt made with my face on it…bought the WEBSITE MattPerrault.com ….did a blog post about quotes and twitters in which he made up some, misquoted quoted others, and took out of context many”
Another fib from that paragraph, I was GIFTED a shirt with “I (HEART) Matt Perrault” on it for my birthday, I didn’t create it. I haven’t made up any of Matt’s quotes, nor misquoted him, and never took any out of context. Why would I go to the trouble of that? He must think that I’m the only guy that pokes fun at him.
All I’ve ever done to Matt is throw his words back in his face, and he obviously can’t stand it. MattPerrault.com is still reasonably priced for anybody named Matt Perrault, or not named Matt Perrault.
The CycloneFanatic message boards are teeming with life about Iowa State Cyclone threads, and until recently, a Matt Perrault thread.
A member there by the userid of jmb started a Matt Perrault discussion pointing to a blog post here on sneakydave.com. There was some discussion about it, some hated it, some liked it, but it seemed like a civil discussion to me. Here was my one entry, wishing Matt good luck at KXNO
To clarify my blog entry about Matt “I never lie” Perrault…. I don’t hate Matt, I like to point out his disingenuous comments. He’s a human contradiction. It started while he was in Omaha when I was trying to buy the BlueJayCafe, and keep it from becoming a paid rivals site. I’ve golfed with Matt, he’s a good golfer, but needy, popped collar and all. That said, he can fly off the handle with listeners, tell them they are on crack, call them stupid, convince management they are wrong, etc. Maybe he doesn’t do that in Iowa between talking about the Red Sox, Tom Brady, Tim Tebow, Gregg Marshall, or Gator Football, but we in Omaha have all heard it. It appears he works hard at his job, although he seems to be frequently uninformed, and blames his lack of fact checking on “not being a journalist”. I personally hope he enjoys a long and illustrious career with KXNO. Good luck! Then a few days later, Matt shows up, apparently in a fit of rage…

Our hero recently created a blog post proclaiming in detail his top quarterbacks of all time. As you’ll see in this blog entry (read it before he edits it), he lists Tom (If you ain’t cheatin’, you ain’t tryin’) Brady behind Joe Montana, and also lists Joe Montana as his #1 quarterback of all time.
Now, I’m not sure why Matt made this blog entry, but he must seem to think his opinions are of great importance in “teh internets”.
But wait! Back in 2007, On the Big Sports 590am station in Omaha, Matt had a discussion about the greatest quarterbacks of all time with Travis Justice, and proclaimed:
“I know that I’m a Patriot fan, but I’m also RIGHT! Tom Brady is a better quarterback than Joe Montana.”
Which would seem to me that Tom Brady is actually Matt’s #1 quarterback. Which version is true? Does anybody care? Most people don’t, and most people that know Matt are aware of his shock topics to get listeners, depending on his whims of the day, and the current ratings. It seems to be a daily ritual whereby our hero will update his predictions on certain games during the week. He’ll make a Superbowl prediction at the beginning of the football season, and if it doesn’t seem like it’ll pan out, he’ll declare that the Saints will win, one day before the Superbowl, and proclaim himself a genius when it comes true!
Many people remember this “Brady is the greatest!” quote by Matt on the Matt and Travis show in Omaha. Everybody could almost somehow see through the airwaves the eyerolls that Travis must have been throwing around after Matt put his stamp of approval on it.
On a similar note, Matt seems to be upset that the MattPerrault.com quote system has been taken offline, which was his original DEMAND to me. MCGOUGH LAW! MCGOUGH LAW!
One, or perhaps both, of these reasons explains why Matt is pissed about the attempt to sell a domain named mattperrault.com for $99
1) He thinks that the name is worth more than $99
2) He can’t come up with $99.
I won’t even get into his pathetic attempts to bring up Jade McCarthy on his New Year’s blog entry, when previously he promised that he would shut down all discussions about her everywhere.
“Thanks for the 7 pages of pub!”, you’re welcome, Matt!
