For whatever reason, I'm fascinated by this story. Maybe this guy, Terry Dolan, is owed millions in song writing credits? Why didn't he ever speak up?

The Rolling Stones' song "Angie" is credited as being written by Kieth Richards and/or Mick Jagger in the early 70's. But there's another story that says that a little known musician from San Francisco actually wrote it.

While hearing the song one day, I remembered a story that I heard a couple of years ago on a radio program. Local radio legend Chuck Taylor claimed that he had a reel to reel tape of the Stones' "Angie" that was written by somebody else in the early 70's.

With a little help of DJ and Music Director Jessica Dol from KEZO, she was able to track down the story from Chuck himself. This was his response regarding the story behind the story.

Terry Nolan died recently (after 2010), this article serves as an obituary, and some of his accomplishments...
